Hey ladies, I came across this artist in one of MoMA's contemporary art books, and instantaneously thought that it would pertain well. Cindy Sherman is a photographer most famous for stills of herself, posing as old cliche movie stars. The image I had seen was of a sex doll, which she placed in a crude sexual position. I think it is slightly ironic that she usually uses the heroine of a movie, yet exposes the more sexual scenes they are shown in. I think this ironic nature is explored in her work and reflects the ideology of our culture....
